Larch timber and its properties

We use European larch for all our larch fencing, sourced from sustainable UK suppliers.  Larch has fantastic strength qualities - it's a tough, durable, waterproof timber with a natural resistance to rot when in contact with the ground.  It's these properties that make it an ideal timber for high quality fencing products.

Thanks to its properties, larch timber can be left untreated.  Larch weathers naturally to a silver-grey colour and if looked after, can last up to twenty years.  But if required, we are able to treat all larch timber on site.

Larch fencing from Cottenham Sawmills

As a sawmill company, we are able to make larch fencing that's truly second to none throughout Cambridgeshire and East Anglia.  The batons and boards we make for our fence panels are substantially thicker than the standard products you would buy from a traditional builder's merchants or DIY store.

And we can be versatile, cutting and making fencing products to your specifications and requirements.

Whether it be garden or commercial fencing, our larch fencing products include:

- traditional larch lap fence panels

- feather edge fencing

- post and rail fencing

- palisade fencing

- and the more modern 'hit and miss' fencing.

Whatever fencing style you require, you can be sure Cottenham Sawmills company has the knowledge and ability to supply you with a strong, superior, long-lasting fence.  Read more about our larch fencing company in our blog.
